Nehemiah Project

Mission:  A Nehemiah “Trumpet Call” Restoration Project:
"The work is great and extensive and we are separated far from one another on the wall.  Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet,
rally to us there. Our God will fight for us."  Nehemiah 4:19-20

Cultivating a culture of engagement, cooperation, and empowerment in Houses of Prayer for Kingdom Advance
In these perilous times, it is vitally important to be more effectively linked and connected.  Not only is the cross vertical, but it is also horizontal.  We are much more effective when we are linked.  In these escalating times,  we are in a time of necessary  convergence.  We cannot fight the battle separated.  “Celebration Challenge: Trumpet Call to the Nations,” has a vision and mission to build and connect houses of prayer/Presence oriented ministries  in the nations.   It is about mobilizing and strengthening a movement, not interfering with already formed networks or churches, but rather building bridges and foundations of relational "infrastructure" strength in and between established houses of prayer/interested churches/networks and helping assist new houses of prayer where they presently do not exist.  We believe this is a movement that God is birthing that is truly a bridal call to "prepare the way."   Nehemiah sets the pattern.  We would like to see a house of prayer or prayer contact in every nation by 2020.
  • Step I:  Assess:  View the condition of the walls (houses of prayer) in the nations, where they are, what they need in order to be strengthened, where they do not exist and need to be built.
    • Scriptural Foundation:  “And I went out by night through the Valley Gate to the Serpent Well and the Refuse Gate, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem which were broken down and its gates which were burned with fire.” Neh. 2:13
  • Step II:  Identify:  Identify key leaders/ministries who are called to a specific nation, region, city or cultural sphere with the house of prayer vision.
    • Scriptural Foundation:   “Come let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.”  Neh. 2:17
  • Step III:  Repair:  Develop cooperative teams within regions and spheres that identify, honor, and empower the giftings and encourage one another.
    • Scriptural Foundation: “So we built the wall, and the entire wall was joined together up to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.”  Neh 4:6
  • Step IV:  Equip:  Develop and utilize resources and trainings that will equip and strengthen servant leadership and empower those laboring in houses of prayer.
    • Scripture:  “Those who built on the wall and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon.” Neh. 4:17
  • Step V:  Build:  Hold and participate in key gatherings.  These gatherings will be for teaching, resourcing, and building relationships in and between houses of prayer.
    • Scriptural Foundation: “The Work is great and extensive, and we are separated far from one another on the wall.  Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there.  Our God will fight for us.”  Neh 4:19
